Health questions

What is a healthy BMI?

For adults, 18.5–24.9 is considered a healthy range, 25–29.9 overweight and 30+ obese. Children and teenagers use age- and sex-specific percentiles instead.

What is the difference between BMR and TDEE?

BMR is what your body burns at complete rest. TDEE multiplies BMR by an activity factor to include movement, exercise and digestion — that is the number to use for diet planning.
