Disclaimer

Last updated: September 2026

Everything on Calculator Tools is provided for general information and education. A calculator applies a published formula to the numbers you enter; it does not know your circumstances, and it is not a substitute for advice from a qualified professional.

Financial calculators

Loan, mortgage, investment, tax, salary and retirement results are estimates. Real figures depend on your lender’s exact method of compounding and rounding, fees, insurance, local tax rules, rate changes and your own circumstances. Nothing here is financial, investment or tax advice, and no result is an offer of credit. Confirm any number that matters with your lender, accountant or a licensed adviser before you act on it.

Health and fitness calculators

BMI, body fat, calorie, macro, pregnancy, dosage-related and similar tools use population-level formulas. They do not account for your medical history, body composition, medication or conditions, and they do not diagnose anything or replace a consultation. Talk to a doctor or a registered dietitian before changing your diet, exercise or treatment, and seek immediate medical help for any urgent symptom — never delay care because of a number on this site.

Engineering, construction and science

Structural, electrical, material-quantity and similar results are preliminary estimates only. They ignore safety factors, local codes, site conditions, waste and tolerances unless you enter them yourself. Any design or purchase decision must be checked and signed off by a licensed engineer or qualified tradesperson.

Accuracy and rounding

Results are computed in your browser using double-precision arithmetic and are displayed rounded. Small differences from another tool are normal and usually come from rounding or from a different convention (for example, 360-day versus 365-day interest, or a different BMR formula). Where a calculator can use more than one accepted method, the method is named on the page. Constants and unit definitions follow standard published values; see about.
