Formula
bulked volume = in-situ volume × (1 + bulking factor)
Worked example

- Excavation: Trench
- Length = 20 m
- Width = 0.6 m
- Depth = 1 m
- Bulking factor = 25 %
- Truck capacity = 8 m³
- Disposal cost per m³ = 35
the calculator returns:
