Formula
Time = distance apart ÷ (v₁ + v₂)
Worked example
Using the values pre-filled in the calculator above:
- Distance apart = 300
- Speed of A = 70
- Speed of B = 50
- B starts later by (hours) = 0
the calculator returns:
- They meet after: 2.5 hours
- Minutes: 150
