Formula
overtime pay = overtime hours × base rate × multiplier
Worked example
Using the values pre-filled in the calculator above:
- Total hours worked = 48
- Standard hours = 40
- Base hourly rate = 18
- Overtime multiplier = 1.5
- Double time after = 50 hours
