saving = (old kWh − new kWh) × rate

Using the values pre-filled in the calculator above:
- Number of bulbs = 20
- Old bulb wattage = 60
- LED wattage = 8
- Hours used per day = 5
- Electricity rate per kWh = 0.25
- Cost per LED bulb = 4
