Formula
CFM = displacement × RPM × VE ÷ 2 (four stroke)
Worked example
Using the values pre-filled in the calculator above:
- Displacement = 2,000 cc
- Engine speed = 6,000 RPM
- Volumetric efficiency = 90 %
